Is there a trial version or download of Micro Estimating Systems?
We can arrange a trial of PartEstimator, other Micro modules are not available as a trial, however we are can take your CAD models and test within the Micro main system
What is included in each of the modules
Estimating Main System: Includes routing and assembly estimating modules, material speed/feed library, customer and vendor libraries, raw materials database, and other support functions. Also included is 2D wireframe functionality.
The system contains a fully integrated Bill of Material application. Each Bill can be nested infinitely to handle any size assembly. They can contain purchased as well as manufactured parts. As prices or costs change, they are updated automatically with new pricing, or cost information. Importing a Bill of Material is a standard system function.
Feature Recognition Estimating technology calculates detailed manufacturing methods, and produces detailed layouts and routings based on knowledgebase's that incorporate hundreds of standard and proprietary formulas; All variables are accounted for, i.e.; speed and feeds, tooling, horse power, torque, and idle times. Estimating directly from 2D and paper drawings is enhanced, with standard smart tools, digitising, and user defined macros. The system will store families of parts, standard operations or a series of operations saving time when working on similar items. This option also includes one (1) seat of SolidWorks (Parts and Assembly) per engineering seat.
This bundle includes all workcenters such as CNC Machining Center, CNC Swiss Turning, CNC Turning, Conventional and Wire EDM, Index GB, Multi and Live Axis, Multi-Tasking Mill/Turn Centers, KMX, all Vertical and Horizontal.
Additional paid for modules are available such as
General Manufacturing Package: Calculates process layouts and cycle times for the following machines/processes; Grinders, Production Saw, Broach, Drill Press, Manual Lathe, Welding, Bridgeport, Boring, Inspection, Rotary Transfer, Gear Cutting, Lapping, Honing, Boring Mill, Gun Drill, Threading, Warner & Swasey turret lathe, and more.
