Please note if you decide not to buy maintenance your Alibre licence will not expire. If you have maintenance and decide not to continue then your Alibre will not expire, your licence will remain at the same release as when it expires.
Maintenance includes all software enhancements for the year that maintenance is current. This includes any new major releases. Maintenance also includes technical support from Mintronics and directly with the Alibre support desk.
Maintenance is always your option and we hope to show the value of continuing maintenance by continually developing the product and providing a quality support service
How do I buy Alibre?
If you are located in the UK then you can purchase via Mintronics Ltd the UK's provider of Alibre 3D CAD software. Telephone 0844 3570378 to request a quotation. All transactions are in UK pounds, a VAT invoice will be provided when you purchase.
The Mintronics webshop is available however this currently uses Paypal
You can also buy via credit card, cheque or direct payment to Mintronics bank account.

Alibre Design can import the following formats with no additional add-ons:
- SolidWorks: 1999 to 2009 (*.sldprt, *.sldasm)
- STEP 203/214
- IGES
- Rhino 3DM
- SAT
- DWG
- DXF
- BMP/JPG/PNG/GIF/TIF/DIB/RLE/JFIF/EMF
What are the standard export options?
Alibre Design Professional and Expert can export the following formats with no additional add-ons:
- STEP 203/214
- IGES
- SAT
- STL
- DWG
- DXF
- BMP/JPG/PNG/GIF/TIF/DIB/RLE/JFIF/EMF
What additional import and export options are available with Alibre Translate?
Alibre Translate is a separate add-on which allows you to extend your import capability to include native files from nearly all popular CAD applications:
Alibre Translate is only available with Alibre Design Expert and not as a standalone module
- AutoDesk Inventor: v10 to 2009 (*.ipt, *.iam)
- Pro/E: 2000 to Wildfire 4 (*.prt, *.xpr, *.asm, *.xas)
- SolidEdge: v10 to v20 (*.par, *.psm, *.asm)
- Catia: v5 from R10 to R18 (*.CATPart, *.pCATProduct)
- Parasolid: v18 (*.x_t, *.x_b, *.xmt_txt, *.xmt_bin)
